Marbella Options and iArch Global announce licensing of its hotel and apartment reservations system and web portal “e-Oyster”

Database design company iArch Global LLC has announced today a partnership with Marbella Options SL http://www.marbellaoptions.com the leading accommodation only provider on Spain’s Costa del Sol. The accommodation and reservation suite “e-oyster” originally designed exclusively for Marbella Options, will be converted into a commercial package and will also be available on web service only by white labeling its software engine.

E-Oyster is a fully integrated advanced web reservation and management system for apartment complexes and rental companies. It also handles hotel reservations and allows passengers to add on local activities, golf and other excursions. On the other side, there is a module that allows hotels to login and check their reservations, modify stop sales and post offers. Apartment and villa owners can also login and check occupancy, revenue and maintenance issues.

Both the internal Filemaker Pro based system and the web are totally integrated in real time to provide up to the minute rates, availability and financial information to qualified agents or staff members. Accounting is also taken care of in the system as are a set of comprehensive reports ranging from agent performance to apartment yields and gross margins. The system also includes a full e-marketing module which keeps the company in contact with its guests.

Nicholas Rhodes, director of iArch Global also comments that “we are in final testing of a module that will look at availability for the next 2 or 3 weeks, compare pricing and demand for previous years and then provide estimates of where to price last minute offers in order to sell the accommodation. It is a very useful tool which we are hoping the basis of an all new auto pricing module in the future.”

E-Oyster has been in full operational testing and usage for the last 10 months and has proved to Marbella Options that it can successfully process thousands of quotes and bookings a day through its web site http://www.marbellaoptions.com as well as handling all day to day operations including wireless access for the staff in the field. It also has over 500 agents from all around the world logging in to the agent section and booking their own clients to travel to Marbella.
